QA and Software Testing for Mobile Apps, Web Apps and Backends

Ship releases you trust. We test your iOS and Android apps, web applications and APIs the way real users and real traffic will, then hand you clear, reproducible bug reports your developers can fix fast.

  • Mobile, web and backend/API testing under one roof
  • Scoped to your product, users and release plan
  • Tested on real devices and emulators, manually and with automation where it saves time
  • Release checks before every launch or app-store update

Why testing pays for itself

A bug found by a customer costs more than a bug found in testing: lost orders, bad reviews, support time and emergency fixes. We build and run production systems ourselves, including field-workforce and multi-store commerce platforms deployed in Pakistani, Canadian and UK markets, so we know where real apps break: logins and permissions, payments, GPS, push notifications, poor connections and the update that quietly breaks last month's feature.

What we test

Mobile app testing (iOS and Android)

  • Install, sign-up, login and onboarding flows
  • Core journeys end to end: browse, book, order, pay, submit
  • Push notifications: delivery, deep links and taps from a closed app
  • GPS, maps and geofences: location accuracy, check-in rules, background behaviour
  • Camera, photo upload and barcode/QR scanning
  • Offline and poor-network behaviour: drafts, retries and sync
  • Different screen sizes, OS versions, permissions (allow/deny) and dark mode
  • App updates: does an existing user's data survive the new version?

Web application testing

  • Forms, validation, error messages and edge cases
  • Roles and permissions: every user sees only what they should
  • Cross-browser checks on current Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile
  • Responsive layouts on phones, tablets and large screens
  • Dashboards, reports, PDF and CSV exports

Backend and API testing

  • REST and GraphQL endpoints: correct responses, status codes and error handling
  • Authentication, sessions and token expiry
  • Permission checks at the API level, not only in the UI
  • Data integrity: what's saved is what was sent, and nothing is lost between steps
  • Background jobs and integrations: scheduled tasks, queues, emails, SMS and webhooks
  • Payment and order flows, including failed and repeated requests

Types of testing we run

Testing typeWhat it answers
Functional testingDoes every feature do what the requirement says?
Regression testingDid the new release break anything that used to work?
API / backend testingAre the services behind your app correct, secure and consistent?
Performance and load testingHow does the system behave as users and data grow? Where does it slow down?
Security checksCommon-vulnerability scanning plus checks of authentication, authorization and APIs, following OWASP-style checklists (not a formal penetration test)
Usability testingCan a first-time user complete key tasks without help?
Device and browser coverageDoes it work on the phones and browsers your customers actually use? We test on real devices and on emulators/simulators
Release checksIs this build ready to go live? (See below.)

Release checks: our go-live checklist

Before a release or app-store submission we run a focused checklist:

  1. Smoke test of the critical paths on the release build, not a developer build
  2. Regression pass on the areas the change touched, plus your must-never-break flows
  3. Configuration check: correct environment, API endpoints, keys and feature switches
  4. Data and migration check: existing users and records still work after the update
  5. Store readiness (mobile): version numbers, permissions text, icons and splash screens
  6. Go / no-go report listing open issues by severity, so you decide with the facts in front of you

How we work

  1. Understand the product. We walk through your app, users and riskiest flows with you.
  2. Test plan. We agree on scope, devices, browsers and priorities.
  3. Test cases. We write clear, reusable test cases for your core journeys.
  4. Test and report. Every bug comes with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual result, severity, device/browser details, and screenshots or screen recordings.
  5. Retest. We verify fixes and rerun regression before sign-off.
  6. Automate what repeats. Stable, high-value flows can be automated so every release gets checked quickly.

What you get

  • Test plan and test cases you keep
  • Bug reports your developers can act on immediately
  • Release reports with a clear go/no-go recommendation
  • Regression suite that grows with your product

Ways to engage

  • Pre-launch QA: a full pass before you go live
  • Per-release testing: regression and release checks for each update
  • Ongoing QA: testing built into your development cycle
  • QA audit: a one-off review of an existing app to find what's broken and what's risky

Every engagement is scoped to your needs, including apps built by other companies. Pricing is by custom quote, based on scope, platforms and release frequency.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between QA and software testing?

Testing is running checks to find defects. QA is the wider process that keeps quality high across releases: test planning, test cases, regression suites, release checks and reporting. We provide both.

Can you test an app that another company built?

Yes. We regularly scope testing around apps built by other teams. We test any mobile app, web app or API you give us access to; we'll need a test build or staging environment, test accounts and any documentation you have.

Do you do manual or automated testing?

Both. Manual testing finds usability problems and unexpected behaviour. Automation is best for stable flows that must be checked on every release. We recommend the mix that suits your budget and release pace.

Which devices and browsers do you test on?

We agree the list with you, based on what your users actually use. We test on real iOS and Android devices and on emulators/simulators, across recent OS versions and screen sizes, plus current Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

How much does QA testing cost?

It depends on the size of the app, the number of platforms and how often you release. We quote per project or per month after a short walkthrough. Message us on WhatsApp for a quote.

Do you offer penetration testing?

No. We run security checks as part of QA: common-vulnerability scanning and checks of authentication, authorization and API access, following OWASP-style checklists. If you need a formal penetration test or certification, we'll recommend you use a specialist security firm alongside us.
